Questions: Peachtree Backup stopped – could not determine database name from path.”

I work for a company that uses Peachtree Sage 50 2018. When we schedule an automatic backup, Peachtree put in the folder for the company file, then we start use Task Scheduler to routine the .ptc file. The problem is that there is a log file that show “Backup stopped – could not determine database name from path.” Please let me know how do I force the correct path in the .ptc file?

Answer: When you set up an automatic backup you must require when do you need the backup to perform and the directory you need the backup files to be formed, you confirm Sage 50 authorizations (with consent to create backups) and you should verify the box that shows “log out users prior to running the backup”. Then tap on Save, which will ask you for a name for your setup. Or You can backup differently, using a Sage 50 Connection Manager. That’s it.
