Schedule a MeetingFollow these steps to install QuickBooks Pro on more than one system:
Step 1:
- Insert QuickBooks Disk
- The installer will automatically open
- For the dialog box not open automatically, go to start button and then click on Explore.
- Now, check the Folder list at the left side. Select “Setup.exe” and the installer will start.
If you have downloaded the software from the official website:
- Double-click on the downloaded file. The installer will launch automatically. Select the Next button and accept the license agreement.
- Follow all the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Step 2:
The installation type dialogue box will show you different types of recommendations. Select Express Installation. Now, click on Custom and Network options. This will help you share your QuickBooks over the network.
Step 3:
For express setup, select Next and it will take you to the product number and license page. Enter the product number and license key.
If your installation is from CD, the license number will be under the yellow sticker on the packing.
Step 4:
For Custom and Network Option selected in the previous step, select Next and then follow the instruction it shows on screen.
Step 5:
To change installation location or upgrade, click on Next. There is a Radio button at the top of the page – “Change Install Location.” Click on it and then click on Browse to select a different location. Ready to install page will appear. Click on Install and the installation will begin. You need to review your system’s settings in case there occurs any error. Now, wait for the installation to finish.
Step 6:
Once the process is complete, double-click on QuickBooks to open it. A congratulation page will open with a message “Help me get started.” QuickBooks, at the background, will automatically check the software’s health status and installation status.
Step 7:
Now, you need to follow all the steps from 1 to 6 on all the computers you want QuickBooks Pro to be installed. All you need to make sure that these systems are connected through a network.
