The installation will start automatically the next time you turn the computer off or restart it.
Update your QuickBooks Automatically
To Disable or Enable Automatic, you need to go with these update option.
- Select the Help menu and then select the Update QuickBooks.
- From the QB update window, select the options tab.
- Click on the options tab and then click on the disable or enable the automatic update.
- Select the update you want to install and then remove the rest of the updates.
- After disabling the info, no notification will be received. Even if, any update is available.
- You will keep on receiving the update message from time to time whenever the update is available online.
- But If you disabled the option then you will not receive any notification even if there is any update are available on the Intuit server. But time to time, you will receive a message asking if you would like to use the Update Service. Note that
This is just a reminder, the installation won’t start unless you show your consent.
- Now, select the save button and then click on close.
If the above-mentioned method doesn’t work and you still face the issue downloading the available update automatically, you need to apply the Immediate Update Method and the update will directly be downloaded from the Intuit Server.
Here is what you need to follow to install the update in QuickBooks:
- Go to the Help Menu, select Update QuickBooks
- Now, select Update Now Tab.
- Now, select the update which you want to download and install. Select the Get Update option.
- Here, you will see the maintenance release link. Select the link. Now, you will see the list of improvements and changes available in the update.
- Now, close all the tasks of QuickBooks Accounting Software. The next time your system restarts, a prompt message will appear on your screen to install the update. Click on the yes option and the installation will start.
- Wait for the installation to finish and the system will start automatically.
