5. Now, you need to rename EntitlementDataStore.ecml file.
6. Check QBWUSER.ini or EntitlementDataSource.ecml of the application is opening properly.

1. Right-click on the program shortcut.
2. Select Properties
3. Select the Compatibility tab
4. Now, click on either Windows 7, 8 or 8.1.
5. Click on Apply button and then click on OK.
6. Open program once again. 

Solution 3:

1. Now, select QBPOS program and then open Windows + R
2. You have to Run dialogue box opens
3. Enter MSC and then hit Enter
4. Now, check the required version of v8 Intuit Entitlement Service of QuickBooks. 
5. The v8 version. Right-click on it and then select properties.
6. Select the start-up type and click on the drop-down.
7. Select the Delayed Start – Automatic start.
8. Now, select the start and the services will automatically begin. If it doesn’t start; 
9. Select OK and then select Windows Properties.
10. Now, check if the service window is open. Close it.
11. Reopen POS program

If all the above-mentioned solutions fail, some inbuilt tools need to be considered for the issues to be resolved. 

Follow these steps as followed:

1. First of all, download and install QBInstall tool
2. It will show you instant instruction. 
3. Use the desktop location to save the file.
4. If other programs are running at the back, close them all.
5. Now, run the program. 
6. Wait for 20-25 minutes for the process to complete. 
7. Here, you must be having a proper and stable internet connection and check the functioning of the system.
8. Wait for the process to complete. Once it finishes, restart your computer.
9. Now, check if all the updates are installed
